Biota Nutri organic fertilisers have the potential to increase crop yields and soil fertility, while decreasing the footprint of food production. Under the EIC Accelerator Pilot, Biota Nutri has received a €50.000 grant for a feasibility study for the proposed scale-up of technical and commercial activities.

Biota Nutri is scaling up

The Enhanced European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot is a EU funding and support instrument for breakthrough innovation projects with a market-creating potential. The Enhanced EIC pilot’s stage funding will boost fast company growth and market-creating innovation. It will also facilitate the scaling up of innovative companies by providing them access to Business Acceleration Services. The EIC Accelerator (SME Instrument) Pilot offers Europe’s brightest and boldest entrepreneurs the chance to step forward and request funding for breakthrough ideas with the potential to create entirely new markets or revolutionise existing ones.

Biota Nutri products have proven to be very effective. As a result, production needs to increase robustly. Using the EU Horizon 2020 grant, we will create a comprehensive business plan and feasibility study for the scale-up of technical and commercial activities. This phase 1 grant result will be used to apply for phase 2, which entails the actual execution of the business plan of phase 1. We are thrilled to have been given this opportunity by the European Union to accelerate Biota Nutri’s growth.
