Les fonctions essentielles du calcium sont le d\u00e9veloppement de la racine et la structure et la solidit\u00e9 des cellules de la plante. Un bon apport en calcium est important pour le d\u00e9veloppement des pousses, des feuilles et des fleurs et pour une meilleure qualit\u00e9 des fruits. Un bon apport en calcium augmente la r\u00e9sistance des plantes et les rend moins sensibles aux maladies.<br\/>Le calcium joue \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le important dans le sol. Il fournit une structure de sol a\u00e9r\u00e9e, augmente le pH du sol afin que les autres nutriments soient mieux absorb\u00e9s. En bref, le calcium contribue \u00e0 l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 de la culture et du sol.     <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Les probl\u00e8mes de croissance qui en d\u00e9coulent sont des sympt\u00f4mes d&rsquo;une carence en calcium.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Une carence en calcium est le r\u00e9sultat d&rsquo;une temp\u00e9rature basse, d&rsquo;un manque d&rsquo;humidit\u00e9, d&rsquo;un stock de terre trop faible ou d&rsquo;une transpiration limit\u00e9e. Les \u00e9ventuelles carences en calcium s&rsquo;expriment donc d&rsquo;abord dans les feuilles les plus jeunes sous la forme d&rsquo;une d\u00e9coloration brune. Une carence en calcium limite la croissance de la plante.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-19bd6d170d048da126f6bf9164d0edce\"><strong>Sympt\u00f4mes d&rsquo;une carence en calcium dans diff\u00e9rentes cultures :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Concombre : feuilles de bulbes et t\u00eates de for\u00e7age<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tomate : pourriture de l&rsquo;extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 des feuilles et du nez<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alstroemeria : feuilles humides<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lisianthus : t\u00eates de feu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fraises : tipburn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>C\u00e9leri : pourriture du c\u0153ur<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laitue : marge de la feuille<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Les sympt\u00f4mes sont diff\u00e9rents d&rsquo;une culture \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre, mais ils ont tous la m\u00eame cause : la mort du bord ext\u00e9rieur du tissu foliaire, caus\u00e9e par des cellules affaiblies en cas de carence en calcium. Cela rend la plante sensible aux champignons, aux bact\u00e9ries et aux insectes. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bon approvisionnement en calcium<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Une culture r\u00e9sistante et une absorption suffisante de calcium par leur culture sont importantes pour de nombreux entrepreneurs. Jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, le choix des engrais calciques se limitait au nitrate de calcium et au chlorure de calcium. Le nitrate de chaux fournit beaucoup de nitrate en plus du calcium, ce qui limite g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement la quantit\u00e9 de calcium.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Le chlorure de calcium peut offrir une solution si la culture accepte cet apport de chlore. Dans un syst\u00e8me de recirculation, le chlorure de calcium peut \u00e0 son tour augmenter trop fortement l&rsquo;indice de chlore. Le lignosulfonate est une mol\u00e9cule organique \u00e0 effet favorable, qui assure une <em><strong>mouillage<\/strong><\/em> de la goutte d&rsquo;eau sur la surface de la feuille.
