The story of Biota Nutri
After his studies, Peter Klein joined his father’s family business in 1996, growing roses and tulips. Ten years later, the family sold the nursery and Peter continued his career as a manager in pepper cultivation. This is where his curiosity was aroused about the composition of fertilizers.
Peter then became product manager of fertilizers at a horticultural supplier. Due to a thorough reorganization of the company initiated by him, Peter started a new challenge: Biota Nutri.
Biota Nutri is the first company in the world to develop high-quality fertilizers from plant-based residual streams.
Our ‘single element’ fertilizers are extremely suitable for high-precision cultivation. They can be used in irrigation systems and as foliar fertilizer. Biota Nutri products regenerate the soil and make crops more resistant to diseases.
Research & Development Biota Nutri
Biota Nutri has a Research and Development (R&D) department. The R&D department is responsible for developing and optimizing new processes for the recovery and separation of nutrients. The processes developed are environmentally friendly because they have a very low CO2 footprint. We carry out quality checks on our products in our own laboratory.
