Biota Reo is a dual function product, made from extracts from the Mojave Yucca. This plant survives in the extreme desert conditions because of specific sugar derivatives. These derivatives are extracted from the plant using a special process, together with polymers. These two substances give Biota Reo its multi-functional effect of a crop dryer and wetting agent. This has two great benefits: fungal disease has a lower chance to develop in dry conditions and as a wetting agent, crop protection is used more effectively. Both of these benefits lower the amounts of pesticides need. Great for you, great for the environment. Biota Reo is safe for your crop, fully biodegradable and does not cause leaf burn.

Working method

Biota Reo works as a wetting agent by lowering the surface tension of the fluid. This means that a liquid containing Biota Reo will spread better over the crop, so that your crop protection preparation is more effective. It also creates a thin layer of liquid on the leaves, instead of beading up. This minimizes leaf burn risks and allows the crop to dry more quickly.

Biota Reo can be used as wetting agent and as crop dryer. It can be easily mixed with (cold) water and chemical crop protection preparations. When used as crop dryer, add Biota Reo in the final minutes of irrigation over the crop. Always consult with an expert and start with a test application. No guarantees can be given in the event of incorrect use.
